  • If I don't feel any pain after my auto accident, do I still need to seek medical attention?
    YES, it is common for symptoms to be mild in the beginning and get worse over time. Symptoms can appear days, weeks, months, or even years after the accident, once the initial adrenaline and trauma have worn off.
  • Is there a time limit to seek medical attention after a car accident?
    YES, you must seek medical care for injuries resulting from an auto accident within 14 days of the accident, or no Personal Injury Protection benefits will be paid by your insurance company.
  • Who will The Body Shop bill for treatment received after my car accident?
    The Body Shop will file bills to your auto insurer if available. We will work with you, and we will accept a Letter of Protection from your attorney.
  • Will my auto insurance premiums increase if I seek medical treatment after my accident?
    Your insurance company cannot legally increase your premiums if you seek medical treatment for injuries sustained in an auto accident.
  • Do I need to have an attorney to receive care at The Body Shop after my car accident?
